Very tasty pizza! I usually buy a paprika pizza and there are always a lot of peppers on it, which was very, very tasty. I always get a bottle of either Cola, Sprite or Fanta (all 1L bottle). Everyone is very personable and the restaurant is very nicely decorated. So if you need Italian food in Gillrath, this is the best choice!

Cozy place and discreet cuisine. The pizza is cooked in an electric oven, but all in all, the result is good. Prices are low. To try.

Food and services is great. Staff is very friendly. Unfortunately, the organization of the order for out of home is always chaotic and you notice that in the restaurant. I would recommend a professional solution for gastronomy. We love to go there.

I had a spaghetti with cream, green peas and ham topped with meltex cheese. It was ok but I would have given it more spices. Taste was bit flawn

I love love love this place. The food here is excellent and so is the service. Great food at a great price! If you are ever in the area, you should do yourself and your taste buds a favor and stop in for a tasty meal. Don't forget to drink the dessert wine as you pay for your check. Genio has a tray near the cash register with shot glasses filled with marsala and it is very tasty! A great way to end a great evening of dining!

Enjoyed the food! Remember to bring cash. Huge menu to chose from. We had take away, but I wished we had more time to enjoy a bottle of wine and relax here. We'll be back again I hope!

Nice place, friendly staff and good italian food. Parking is a little problematic, either on the street or the little parking area across the street (for a FIAT okay but a challenge for your SUV)? Oh, b.t.w. cash only, no cards accepted!

Il Genio Gillrath is a great restaurant. It has a vast selection of items to choose from, ranging from various pasta dishes, desserts and drinks. The menu is in both English and German (which is always a good sign for a solid restaurant). Also, dont skip out on dessert here, if you have room. The tiramisu is fantastic! I recommend dining at Il Genio Gillrath if you're in the area. Also just a heads up that even though it's a super nice establishment, credit cards are NOT accepted here. It's cash only.

Very good italiano pizza, but also the restaurant has a wide choise of italian cusine. Free parking available in front of the restaurant. Make a reservation in advance is highly suggested.
